As promised here is my review of the new MUA Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation.
I don't buy many foundations as I have very dry skin and hate trying to swatch in store but I thought I would take a chance on this one and it's pretty affordable.
Ok so first up naked face pics you have been warned :op
I have been testing this for a few days now and had mixed results. The first day I tried it with my usual primer and foundation brush and it was a total nightmare. It had a melt down with my primer and rolled off my skin in little bits, I am sure you all know what I mean? It also collected all over my nose (I have very dry skin especially at this time of year)
I almost gave up on it but tried it the next day without the primer and without the brush I just applied with clean fingers and I had much much better results, however this foundation still hugs dry bits in a really obvious way so unfortunately it is not for me. If I didn't have dry skin I would like this foundation so it might be worth checking out for other peeps.
The other downside is the shade range they have 3 shades, yes just 3 and none are dark which is a shame. This one suits my skin quite well but there could be more variety. This is the lightest shade for reference.
This retails for £5.00 and is on introductory offer on their website for £3.00 which you can buy here

Shame it's no good for drysises :(
ReplyDeleteI haz sads too
DeleteDoes it oxsidize at all?
ReplyDeleteIt actually looks like it would be light enough for my fair skin.
Not the few times I wore it and I wore it for 8+ hours
DeleteIt's brilliant that it looks pale enough for me, because that's really rare but such a shame they didn't cater for everyone else :(
ReplyDeleteI'm more combination than dry and I like to heap on the moisturiser in the mornings so I might give this a punt for the price.
I would deffo give it a try if you can get it on the introductory offer even better!
DeleteI have oily skin, so this could work. The color looks good.
ReplyDeleteTry exfoliating with oats, milk, and baking soda 2 times a week also applying e45 cream to your face 3 times a day I suffered with extremely dry skin after I had my son and this really worked for me! Thank you for sharing. Xxx
ReplyDeletewould the darkest shade suit me im an NW 30-35? I'm just scared it's nor dark enough for me :(
ReplyDeletedo u think the darkest shade would match me (I'm an NW 30-35). :) i have no local stores nearby to try this on and i haven't found any review about the color match for someone as dark as me for this foundation.
ReplyDeleteBased on what I have seen I don't think it will be dark enough for you :( sorry
