Urban Decay Moondust Eye Shadow Review and Swatches

Hiya Peeps,

Quick post for you today, I picked up some of the new Urban Decay Moondust shadows, you probably remember a similar product they released a while back but they weren't the greatest, fallout everywhere and pretty sheer apart from the odd colour (though they did have cool packaging where you squeezed the sides and it flipped open)

This seems to be the new improved version and they are a million times better I am glad to say!

I picked up two shades:

These are swatched dry.

Zodiac is soooo amazing I love it so much think I will wear it to the Expo this weekend!! 

I would recommend a sticky base with these (glitter glue, pixie epoxy etc) I used a sticky base and had very minimal fallout all day. About the same as a indie eyeshadow (maybe a little less) so they are a lot better than the previous version.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipstick Collection Swatches

Good Evening Peeps,

Today I have for you four of the Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid's. 

We only get 5 shades of these in the UK (boo) and I am missing shocking coral (I don't tend to go for corals). 

It's been a weird road to buying these, I was super excited for their release then swatched them on my hand and was disappointed as they weren't as bright as expected so I didn't buy any. A good while later I picked up one on offer and found they were a lot better on the lips then on the back of my hand (weird o.o) soooo I had to go get the others :)

Yes I realise there is a big lump of lipstick on my lip...sigh never notice these things at the time!!! Must have broken off -.-

So there you go, do you have any of these? Fancy any of them?

I find the formula nice, creamy and lasts well no complaints.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Black Cherry

My week off is nearly over (boo!) but these things always fly by. 

Quick review for you today it's a lipstick I have had in my stash for a little while now and doesn't get enough love.

I actually really like Revlon's lipsticks and I own a few now and this is one of my favourites. It's dark but not scary dark if that makes sense, I do love this colour!

Darling Girl Cosmetics Haul

Hiya Peeps,

Sorry for the lack of posting I have a week of work (half way through it now) and the blog also seems to go on holiday!!) 

I have a few new shades from Darling Girl to show you :)

I have tried a different swatching way today not sure if I will stick to it or go back to circular as per usual.

Essentially the left swatch is dry and the right is over a sticky base (in this case Darling Girl glitter glue but any sticky base should have the same result)

In my experimentation I also tried the tape method as can be seen below. It looks neater but is very time consuming so I don't see me doing it going forward due to the amount of products I swatch, plus I think the duochrome is much more obvious in the above pics even if they are *messy*

MAC Temperature Rising Lipglass Swatches

Evening Peeps,

The new MAC summer collection has launched in the UK (this is the only collection we seem to get early its bizarre) and I picked up a couple of the lipglasses.

I took a bit of a punt as there aren't many swatches out there just yet but I went for the glitteriest ones I saw (suprise suprise!!)

There you go! So pretty especially Undressed!

The packaging this year is really nice too with bronze caps it all fits really well with the theme and imagery.

I realised I take lots of pics of my MU but never blog about it! So here is a quick montage of recent looks.

Please note these were taken with my phone so please excuse the quality

This look above has been taken with the flash, that's an OCC loose shadow in slag and the lips are WNW Fergie Fuchsianista

This look is done with the Urban Decay Theadora palette

This is Darling Girl Don't Teal Me You Love Me no idea on the random gloss sorry, the purple liner is Urban Decay (again this is with the flash)

This was done with this Etude House shadow duo 

Another OCC loose shadow in triptych and a random Urban Decay liner

Sorry totally can't recall which eye shadow this is but the gloss is MAC Riviera Life (flash again!)

This is just random shadows from a cheap 120 palette (think like costal scents) my liner is crap here this is why I never line my upper lid

This is a Miss Sporty Shimmer Shadow in Goddess (I got this for 50p from Fragrance Direct!) and the lippie is MAC Film Noir (flash used in this pic!)

This is a Hi Fi Cosmetics shadow in The Hydra and a random purple liner
